About me

I am a Dutch pianist, based between Europe and Japan. After studying at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam, I performed extensively in concerts, recorded numerous CDs, and taught at Universities in Japan. Today, I continue to perform and teach students from around the world.

This section contains over 60 videos and represents a wide range of repertoire, from well-known works to lesser-performed pieces, and of course my own piano transcriptions. Alongside the modern piano, I have also explored the sound world of historical instruments, experimenting with their unique tonal qualities.

Lessons

I offer online piano lessons for intermediate and advanced students with an interest in classical music. With over 35 years of teaching experience, my focus is on developing solid technique, stylistic awareness, and musical interpretation. Lessons are adapted to individual needs—whether preparing for auditions, competitions, exams, or refining repertoire. I aim to provide clear guidance, practical methods, and a structured approach to help students achieve their specific objectives.
